🛠️ What I've built

Embodied:Intent

Designing Trust Through Interaction

Embodied:Intent is a workshop concept designed to help interdisciplinary product teams understand how design decisions influence trust in digital systems. Through hands-on interaction with a physical robot, participants experience the impact of competence, integrity and benevolence firsthand, enabling more conscious product decisions.

Creating a Customer Experience for a Creative Business

I designed and developed the complete digital presence for my own art business, from brand identity and user experience to a custom-built website and social media presence. The platform was iteratively improved through user feedback and has since generated commissions from clients across multiple European countries.

💡 What I'm good at

System Thinking

I approach design challenges by understanding the bigger picture rather than isolated interfaces. By considering user needs, technical constraints and business goals together, I create solutions that fit seamlessly into complex products and ecosystems.

Human-Centered Product Development

My background combines technical product development with user experience design. This enables me to create products that are not only technically feasible but also intuitive, meaningful and valuable for the people who use them.

Analytical Problem Solving

I enjoy breaking down complex challenges into clear, structured problems before exploring solutions. This analytical mindset helps me make informed design decisions instead of relying on assumptions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

I thrive in interdisciplinary teams, working closely with designers, engineers and stakeholders. My technical background allows me to communicate effectively across disciplines and bridge the gap between design and implementation.

Concept-Driven Design

I am particularly passionate about translating insights into well-founded product concepts. From identifying user needs to defining interaction flows and validating ideas through prototypes, I focus on creating solutions with a clear purpose.

Continuous Improvement Mindset

Whether refining a product, learning new technologies or optimizing my own workflows, I am driven by continuous improvement. I value feedback, iterate quickly and strive to create better experiences with every design decision.

"I first met Theresa Hußke whilst she was studying for her degree in User Experience Design, in my capacity as Programme Director and Professor of Interactive Media Systems Design. Theresa stood out in particular for her analytical thinking, her conceptual strength and her design work, which was consistently grounded in these qualities.

In her projects, she impressed with her methodical, independent approach and remarkable dedication. When Theresa takes on a project, one can be confident that it will be thoroughly examined, clearly understood and successfully brought to fruition.

Particularly noteworthy is her ability to empathically align user needs with design and technical requirements. Her interest in the latest technological developments and her ability to draw conclusions from these for her own profession make her a valuable UX designer.

In her work, I have found Theresa to be absolutely reliable, a team player, constructive and open to criticism. She not only took feedback on board, but used it to critically examine her designs and consistently develop them further.

I am convinced that, with her multifaceted UX design skills, which she applies with great precision, and her interpersonal skills, she can deliver real added value in professional and interdisciplinary contexts."
